Director, Transaction Banking Sales – North Asia

About the role

ANZ is seeking a Director of Transaction Banking Sales for North Asia, based in Taipei, Taiwan. The role leads the growth of the Transaction Banking franchise by expanding existing client relationships and generating new business across Payments & Cash Management and Trade & Supply Chain solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive acquisition of new corporate clients and grow the PCM and TSC portfolio in line with ANZ’s strategic objectives.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to maximise revenue and profitability for large Taiwanese corporates and multinational customers.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Segment Heads and Transaction Banking leadership on account planning, wallet sizing and opportunity identification.
• Coordinate with Sales, Product, Operations and Implementation teams to deliver tailored transaction‑banking solutions.
• Identify and execute "throw and catch" opportunities across ANZ’s global network to boost overall Transaction Banking revenue.
• Analyse Trade & Supply Chain financing opportunities and ensure compliance with product guidelines and risk policies.
• Escalate and help remediate financial and non‑financial risks, supporting effective risk‑management practices.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in transaction banking sales or related corporate banking functions.
• Strong track record of generating revenue and managing large institutional client portfolios.
• Excellent understanding of payments, cash management, trade finance and supply‑chain financing.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• High risk awareness and commitment to compliance and governance standards.
