Key Account Manager – Costco

About the role

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets within the agreed trade budget for assigned accounts, specifically focusing on Costco. This role supports Suntory Beverage & Food’s mission to deliver sustainable growth and bold innovation across the Asia Pacific region.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate in developing and executing sales strategies and plans that align with the company’s mission and long‑term objectives.
• Achieve agreed sales targets while ensuring responsible and effective allocation of resources.
• Manage key accounts, negotiate trade terms and maximize brand investment for the company.
• Build and nurture relationships with stakeholders at all levels, fostering partnership and trust.
• Champion the adaptation and implementation of company programs with trade partners to ensure relevance and impact.
• Lead the development of solutions to address channel or store conflicts, promoting win‑win outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in sales, marketing or a related discipline.
• At least three years of experience in key account management, preferably in the fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.
• Demonstrated integrity, accountability and strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Strategic thinking and planning skills with strong numerical attention to detail.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Proven track record of successful sales performance and ability to manage multiple complex priorities.
