Director of Sales – APAC

About the role

The Director of Sales – APAC will lead all commercial activities for Aehr Test Systems across the Asia‑Pacific region, driving revenue growth and gross margin improvement. Reporting to the EVP of Sales and Marketing, the role requires close collaboration with global teams and direct engagement with high‑volume semiconductor customers and their ecosystem partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the sales strategy for the APAC region, focusing on high‑return opportunities.
• Engage directly with lead customers and ecosystem partners, build executive relationships, present Aehr’s value proposition and close orders.
• Expand the sales organization by hiring and managing a mix of direct sales staff and manufacturer representatives across China, Taiwan and Southeast Asia.
• Lead negotiations for all APAC orders, ensuring Aehr’s short‑ and long‑term interests are integrated into the strategy.
• Represent Aehr at trade shows, conferences and customer sites to evangelize the company’s solutions.

Required profile

• 10‑15+ years of global direct sales experience in capital equipment for the semiconductor or semiconductor test and wafer industry.
• Proven ability to build executive‑level relationships and a network within the high‑volume semiconductor market.
• Demonstrated success in building and leading a sales organization from the ground up.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with a track record of closing complex negotiations.
• Self‑starter who consistently delivers results in a fast‑paced environment.
