Director of Accounting

About the role

North Shore Global Ltd. (NSG) is seeking a seasoned Director of Accounting to lead its accounting function in Taipei. This senior, on‑site position is responsible for the accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of all financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including consolidations.
• Manage the accounting team and enforce robust internal controls.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow monitoring processes.
• Coordinate cost accounting, inventory accounting and tax filings.
• Support external audits and provide analytical insights for strategic decisions.
• Implement best practices in accounting systems and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• CPA qualification or equivalent professional certification.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Several years of progressive leadership experience in accounting, preferably within manufacturing or apparel.
• Strong knowledge of local and international accounting standards, tax regulations and audit requirements.
• Fluent English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
