Finance Manager - Taiwan

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead all finance and accounting functions for the Company’s operations in Taiwan. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller in Singapore, the role ensures accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance and strong financial governance across the subsidiary.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts, month‑end and year‑end closing, accounts payable, billing, collections and operating cost payments.
• Prepare monthly financial and management reports for Group Finance and support investor reporting with KPI, CAPEX and construction progress data.
• Maintain statutory books in NTD, perform EAS‑to‑IFRS reconciliations and oversee construction‑in‑progress and fixed‑asset registers.
• Handle Taiwan statutory, tax and regulatory compliance, coordinate audits, tax filings and corporate secretarial matters.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, and provide financial analysis for business planning.
• Oversee cash‑flow forecasting, banking activities, funding requests and foreign‑exchange reporting.
• Ensure internal controls, audit support and continuous process improvement.
• Partner with local stakeholders on project finance, vendor contracts and payroll administration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (Taiwan CPA, US CPA, ACCA, CA) highly preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
• Big Four audit background and hands‑on experience with Taiwan tax and statutory compliance preferred.
• Experience in multinational organisations reporting under IFRS.
• Knowledge of data‑centre, infrastructure, real‑estate or capital‑project finance is an advantage.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Working knowledge of Power BI.
• Familiarity with Power Automate.
• Experience with Yardi system.
