Client Service Specialist

About the role

Moody's is hiring a Client Service Specialist in Taipei, Taiwan, to join its team supporting the Credit Research and Risk Measurement suite of products. The specialist acts as the first point of contact for customers, delivering high-quality service across a wide range of credit research and risk measurement products while building strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for Moody's customers, communicating in a professional, accurate and timely manner.
• Identify sales opportunities and proactively up-sell products and services.
• Respond to client inquiries, resolve issues and fulfill client requests efficiently.
• Identify product issues, triage them and escalate to the appropriate team when needed.
• Facilitate interactions between clients and Moody's Ratings analysts or economists for specialized needs.
• Provide constructive feedback on the client experience to internal teams to improve service and products.
• Support new product launches and business initiatives through training, marketing activities and stakeholder feedback.

Required profile

• Essential: exposure to the financial industry, banking or financial markets, with familiarity with credit risk solutions and financial products.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Management or a related field; other majors considered if there is a strong interest in Client Service.
• Preferred: proven experience in customer service or contact center environments.

Required skills

• Strong customer orientation and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving to handle inquiries and escalate issues appropriately.
• Ability to collaborate across Sales, Product Management and Customer Service.
• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and interest in responsible AI practices.
