Audit Manager – WRB (Taiwan)

About the role

The Audit Manager – WRB will support the Country Head of Audit (CHOA) and the Portfolio Head of Audit (PHOA) in developing risk assessments and audit plans for Standard Chartered’s operations in Taiwan. The role leads audit engagements, ensures independence, and drives improvements in the control environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update risk assessments, propose and execute audit plans, and manage audit budgets for Taiwan.
• Lead audit teams, draft audit scopes, reports, and track issue remediation, ensuring compliance with GIA methodology.
• Engage with senior business stakeholders, communicate findings, and escalate unresolved issues to appropriate governance bodies.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of banking experience, preferably in compliance, risk management or risk governance.
• Strong communication skills in both Chinese and English.
• Relevant certifications such as TABF certified banking auditor (desired).
