Finance Analyst IV – Global Workplace & Infrastructure

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a senior Finance Analyst (B4) to support its Global Workplace & Infrastructure function across Taiwan and Korea. The role combines strategic financial planning, cost optimization, and AI‑enabled productivity to drive efficient facility operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead forecasting and budgeting for OPEX, CAPEX, and headcount across Taiwan and Korea facilities.
• Own and deliver NPV analysis for major capital projects and strategic investments.
• Develop 1‑year to 5‑year financial plans aligned with corporate strategy and regional growth targets.
• Drive cost‑saving initiatives, including vendor renegotiations and operational efficiency improvements.
• Benchmark OPEX and CAPEX performance, identifying opportunities for reduction and performance gains.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment on financial goals and execution.
• Maintain financial integrity through accurate reconciliations, accruals, and compliance with corporate policies.
• Champion an AI‑first approach by developing and deploying AI tools to enhance financial analysis, reporting, and decision support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, including capital project evaluation and cost benchmarking.
• Proven ability to create multi‑year financial plans that support corporate strategy.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
