Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

Join Applied Materials in Hsinchu as a Senior Internal Auditor, leading audit engagements within a global, high‑tech environment. You will work independently on complex, high‑risk projects, applying professional judgment and leveraging emerging technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Execute audit programs, conduct fieldwork, and ensure compliance with IIA standards.
• Plan and lead operational audits, supplier audits, and advisory projects, documenting findings and presenting them to stakeholders.
• Identify control gaps, recommend improvements, and monitor remediation progress through Optro.
• Support junior auditors, lead small‑scale projects, and contribute to audit methodology development.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of internal audit or compliance experience in complex, global settings.
• Proven ability to manage high‑risk, high‑complexity audit engagements with limited supervision.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to influence and prioritize competing demands.

Required skills

• Proficiency with audit tools and documentation application (Optro) and IIA standards.
• Experience with SAP ERP environments and data‑analytics tools.
• Interest and ability to apply AI and emerging technologies to audit processes.
