Asia Pacific Regional Manager/Director – Service Business Unit

About the role

This senior position leads the Asia Pacific Service Business Unit for Applied Materials, overseeing all business and field service operations for the MDP/ALD service product segment. The role requires cross‑functional engagement to drive the product lifecycle, meet customer expectations and accelerate regional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provides executive leadership for regional business and customer strategy, planning and execution for the Asia Pacific service business.
• Directly manages regional product marketing and field service focal teams.
• Builds understanding of regional market requirements and feeds them into product development.
• Leads service product marketing activities, including value proposition, business sizing, sales analysis and go‑to‑market strategy.
• Develops pricing models, financial plans and business case assessments for service opportunities.
• Drives inorganic growth and partnership development to support business execution.
• Coordinates cross‑functional teams across sales, marketing, engineering, operations, finance and legal to deliver regional opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 + years of industry experience in wafer fabrication equipment and metal/ALD service operations.
• Proven leadership in a matrixed, regional environment with strong commercial acumen.
• Experience in product marketing, program management and financial analysis.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and present executive‑level business cases.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills.
