Accounting Associate

About the role

TSMC’s Accounting Division is seeking an Accounting Associate to support its global financial operations. This position offers hands‑on experience with large‑scale financial systems in the high‑tech semiconductor industry and the chance to work closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Compile and present reports, forecasts, budgets, business plans, and financial statements.
• Research and analyze accounting data to provide accurate financial insights for strategic decisions.
• Perform ad‑hoc analyses and manage special projects as assigned.
• Support cross‑functional teams in aligning financial and operational strategies.
• Participate in a rotation program, with potential relocation to Taichung, Tainan, or overseas.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in a well‑known international accounting firm is highly desirable.
• CPA license preferred but not mandatory.
• Cross‑disciplinary experience in engineering or computer science is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in Japanese and English is highly valued.
