Data Scientist (Search & Recommendation)

About the role

Binance is seeking a Data Scientist specialized in search and recommendation to drive the development of content recommendation services across its global blockchain ecosystem. You will work with cross‑functional teams to enhance content matching, personalization and overall user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain search and recommendation services and models supporting the content team.
• Apply machine‑learning based personalization techniques, design patterns and tools to improve content distribution efficiency.
• Leverage deep knowledge of recommendation systems in the content domain to upgrade AI products and boost business outcomes.
• Lead development of core recommendation modules using data‑driven strategies to maximize content value and user impact.
• Collaborate with content, business and product teams to identify needs, define success metrics and shape product road‑maps.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of industry experience, preferably in content‑related user‑facing applications.
• Proven ability to work across global, cross‑functional teams.
• Track record of publications at top‑tier conferences or journals is a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with PyTorch.
• Hands‑on experience with TensorFlow.
