Associate Director, Corporate Coverage

About the role

As an Associate Director for Corporate Coverage in Taiwan, you will manage and grow a portfolio of Institutional Banking clients, with a focus on large technology firms and key traditional industries. The role drives client engagement, expands wallet share, and originates cross‑border opportunities by leveraging ANZ’s regional and international network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop deep, trusted relationships with senior decision‑makers across corporate clients, understanding their strategies, financial performance and banking needs.
• Identify and pursue revenue growth across lending, transaction banking, financial markets, sustainable finance and other Institutional Banking products.
• Expand wallet share through proactive engagement, account planning and delivery of tailored banking solutions.
• Originate new business opportunities within existing relationships and acquire prospective clients aligned with strategic priorities.
• Collaborate with product partners, credit, risk and ANZ’s regional network to deliver integrated, cross‑border solutions.
• Support the development and execution of the Taiwan Corporate Coverage strategy to meet growth, profitability and risk‑management objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing corporate banking relationships and driving revenue growth.
• Strong understanding of client business models, financial statements and banking requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with product, credit, risk and regional teams.
• Excellent communication and strategic discussion skills with senior executives.
