Android Developer – Risk Control (Remote)

About the role

Join Binance’s Experience & Connectivity Team as an Android Developer focused on risk control and identity verification. You will design and maintain high‑performance Android applications that run on‑device AI models for face recognition and liveness detection, helping to secure a global cryptocurrency platform.

Key responsibilities

• Build and optimise Android applications for risk‑control and identity‑verification products.
• Integrate lightweight on‑device AI models (face recognition, liveness detection, action recognition) and manage inference pipelines.
• Develop client‑side libraries and frameworks to improve code quality and development speed.
• Implement end‑to‑end user‑action flows: camera capture, on‑device preprocessing, and backend API calls.
• Handle real‑time video processing, camera stream management, and frame‑level operations.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience building Android applications from scratch.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience deploying on‑device AI/ML models on Android.
• Strong background in video processing and computer‑vision workflows.

Required skills

• Kotlin and Java
• Android SDK, Jetpack, OkHttp
• On‑device AI model integration (face recognition, liveness detection, action recognition)
• Video capture, real‑time frame processing, camera stream handling
• Computer‑vision concepts (face detection, anti‑spoofing)
• Cross‑platform knowledge: JavaScript, TypeScript, React
• C++ and JNI (a plus)
