Demand & Supply Planning Assistant Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Demand & Supply Planning Assistant Manager to own the consensus demand plan and drive supply execution across finished goods and visibility items. The role ensures stock availability, optimal inventory levels and 100 % customer fulfilment while aligning forecasts with sales, marketing and finance inputs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse historical sales, market trends and distribution data to build statistical forecasts and the Operations Demand Plan.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance and Operations to reconcile forecasts, challenge assumptions and agree on a consensus demand plan during monthly S&OP meetings.
• Define and maintain the local Sales & Operations Planning process, set meeting structures and deadlines in line with global guidelines.
• Translate the globally‑balanced demand plan into a weekly supply plan, set target stock levels, manage inter‑DC movements and repacking plans.
• Monitor inventory health, flag stock‑out or expiry risks and propose corrective actions to the Operations Manager.
• Achieve KPI targets such as SKU and DC forecast accuracy and service level.

Required profile

• Proven experience in demand planning, S&OP or supply chain planning.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales data and identify forecast errors.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with Sales, Finance and Operations teams.
• Result‑oriented attitude with focus on meeting KPI and risk mitigation.
