Senior Legal Counsel – Commercial & Corporate Governance

About the role

Shape governance, enable growth and partner with the business at Eurofins Taiwan. The Senior Legal Counsel will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, strengthening governance, compliance and legal risk management while supporting commercial expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements such as customer contracts, supplier agreements, service contracts and NDAs, providing business‑oriented solutions.
• Support corporate governance and legal administration for multiple Taiwan entities, handling statutory filings, shareholder documentation and compliance requirements.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments, assess business impact and promote a strong compliance culture.
• Provide legal advice on employment and labor law matters in partnership with HR and business leaders.
• Develop and improve contract management processes, legal templates and governance frameworks, and deliver training on legal and compliance topics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or higher.
• Minimum 5 years of legal experience, including at least 3 years in an in‑house role.
• Strong experience in commercial contract management and negotiation.
• Working knowledge of Taiwan corporate, commercial, employment and regulatory laws.
• Ability to balance legal risk with business objectives and provide practical advice.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem‑solving skills.
• Professional proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese.
