Consultant - Financial and Insurance Industry

About the role

We are seeking a Consultant to support our clients in the financial and insurance sector with the implementation of IFRS 17 and related regulatory frameworks. The role involves providing expert advice on sub‑account setup, operational processes, controls, and the preparation of insurance management reports.

Key responsibilities

• Guide clients through the implementation of IFRS 17 standards, including sub‑account configuration and control design.
• Develop and review operational processes and reporting templates for insurance management, asset‑liability management, and the Insurance Capital Standard (ICS).
• Conduct interviews and workshops with client teams to gather requirements and ensure effective knowledge transfer.
• Prepare high‑quality documentation and reports under tight deadlines.
• Support the initial application of IFRS 17 and related standards in client environments.

Required profile

• 2 + years of consulting experience (4 + years for senior level) in finance or insurance accounting.
• Experience in audit firms or financial/insurance accounting departments is a plus.
• Strong communication and interview skills with the ability to build client relationships.
• Excellent report‑writing ability and capacity to deliver high‑quality work under pressure.
• Self‑motivated, independent, and able to handle stressful situations.
• Fluent in Mandarin and proficient in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
