About the role
We are seeking an Associate to join our Corporate & Employment Law team within Deloitte Taiwan’s Southern Tax Division. The role combines tax and legal expertise to provide comprehensive advice on equity trading, investments, joint ventures, and M&A activities for domestic and international clients.
Key responsibilities
- Provide legal consultation on corporate transactions, including equity trading, joint ventures, and mergers & acquisitions.
- Advise on Company Law, Securities and Exchange Act, Labor Standards Act, and related regulations.
- Review and draft contracts in Chinese and English, such as distribution agreements.
- Support civil and commercial litigation matters and disputes over management rights.
Required profile
- Lawyer qualification or license in Taiwan or another jurisdiction.
- At least 2 years of experience in a law firm, focusing on non‑litigation and commercial law.
- Strong English proficiency (listening, speaking, reading, writing) with a recent TOEIC score report.
Required skills
- English language proficiency (TOEIC certified).
