Visual Production Designer, Packaging

About the role

Verkada is looking for a Visual Production Designer to bring its brand to life through high‑quality packaging, labels, and production‑ready visual assets that ship at global scale. You will ensure consistency and precision across a growing portfolio, working closely with industrial design, hardware engineering, and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Create scalable printed and digital assets that reinforce Verkada’s visual language and values.
• Collaborate with industrial design and hardware engineering teams to develop clean, consistent packaging and label artwork.
• Prepare production‑ready files, oversee proofing and production processes, and ensure accuracy and quality.
• Manage vendor communications, provide clear artwork and dieline specifications, coordinate feedback, and resolve production issues.
• Conduct vendor site visits and press checks to validate materials and address challenges.
• Evaluate production samples for color, material, and print accuracy, documenting results and driving corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain design libraries and specifications for creative teams.
• Identify and implement process improvements across creative, production, and vendor workflows.

Required profile

• Portfolio of relevant visual and packaging design work (website or digital portfolio).
