Industrial Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Industrial Designer to join our Taiwan Hardware Development Team. This early‑career position, based in Northern Taiwan, offers the chance to master the full product development lifecycle of e‑Readers and related accessories under senior mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D surface models using PTC Creo to meet mass‑production standards.
• Produce realistic renderings with KeyShot for CMF reviews and internal presentations.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) phases (EVT, DVT, PVT) to transition concepts into production‑ready items.
• Assist in defining CMF specifications, conduct cosmetic inspections, and manage limit samples at supplier sites.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, program management teams and manufacturing vendors to resolve technical and cosmetic issues.

Required profile

• Early‑career designer fluent in Traditional Chinese and advanced in English.
• Willingness to work onsite in Northern Taiwan and learn from senior engineers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with PTC Creo for CAD modeling.
• Experience using KeyShot for high‑quality visualizations.
• Knowledge of CMF (Color, Material, Finish) development.
• Familiarity with NPI processes (EVT/DVT/PVT).
