Training Manager

About the role

The Training Manager will lead the design, planning, delivery and evaluation of training programmes for boutique teams. Working closely with the Retail Director and regional teams, you will ensure training budgets are respected and that staff performance continuously improves.

Key responsibilities

• Define, plan and budget the annual training plan in coordination with regional teams; monitor spending and produce monthly budget reports.
• Develop and implement training modules using internal resources or external trainers; manage all training materials, proofreading and translation.
• Conduct field coaching, mystery‑shopper analysis, and talent‑pool assessments; create action plans and follow‑up activities.
• Coach boutique staff on a bi‑weekly basis, conduct weekly boutique visits, and analyse coaching results for senior leadership.
• Design and coordinate talent‑development programmes for high‑end community initiatives, including induction pathways and local events.
• Ensure consistent service quality across the network through mystery‑shopping results and oversee staff uniform and grooming standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing training programmes for retail or boutique environments.
• Strong budgeting and reporting skills, with the ability to track and optimise training spend.
• Excellent coaching and field‑training abilities, capable of delivering feedback and action plans.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as Retail Performance, Operations, Marketing and HR.
