HR Manager – Taiwan Luxury Travel Agency

About the role

We are a high‑end luxury travel and tourism agency seeking a senior HR Manager to lead talent acquisition and HR operations in Taiwan. The role is split 50/50 between recruiting top travel talent and managing the full employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with Taiwan’s Labor Standards Act.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end recruitment for all Taiwan‑based positions, from travel consultants to marketing and operations staff, using direct sourcing, job portals and social media.
• Design and deliver a seamless onboarding experience that immerses new hires in the company culture and systems.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert on Taiwan labor law, ensuring all policies, contracts and practices remain compliant.
• Oversee monthly payroll, labor insurance, national health insurance, pension contributions and local tax filings.
• Manage performance reviews, probation assessments, contract renewals, leave administration and off‑boarding processes.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, fostering engagement, organizing staff activities and resolving workplace issues.

Required profile

• 6–8+ years progressive HR generalist experience, with at least 3–4 years hands‑on talent acquisition.
• Strong background in the travel or tourism industry is highly preferred.
• In‑depth knowledge of Taiwan Labor Standards Act and related statutory benefits.
• Native or fluent Mandarin and professional proficiency in English.
• Proactive, resource‑ful mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast‑growing environment.
