Technical Engagement Manager (FaST)

About the role

KLA's Customer Engagement (CE) division is a field-based group of technical experts working with customers to deliver a portfolio of products that support yield improvement from R&D through high-volume production. As Technical Engagement Manager (FaST), you will advance business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise, partnering with customers and collaborating with marketing, engineering and service teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute customer-specific product penetration, positioning and market share strategies
• Build relationships with key customer technical buying influences and understand leading-edge process and metrology technology
• Collaborate with the FaST Marketing and Engineering teams and the home team to position and deliver differentiated product value and resolve customer issues
• Work with the BU and Service teams to execute PSA objectives
• Develop sales strategies with account managers and apply KLA sales processes such as Value/People and SPIN
• Mentor and coach engineers and inspire and motivate team members

Required profile

• B.A./M.S. in an engineering or science-based field
• 5 years of IC/fab experience with KLA tool knowledge (film, SCD, etch, thin film preferred; defect/inspection also considered)
• Strong background in advanced packaging process flow and CD/Film metrology control
• Good Mandarin and English interpersonal skills
• Leadership, business acumen, proactive ownership and ability to work under stress
