Staff Technical Program & Manufacturing Engineer – Display Systems

About the role

Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Technical Program & Manufacturing Engineer to lead development and supplier engagement for advanced AR/VR optical systems in Taiwan. The role combines program management, build execution, and technical expertise to ensure delivery of complex display and optical hardware.

Key responsibilities

• Lead supplier engagements, manage timelines, deliverables, and resources to achieve production-quality delivery of optical systems.
• Plan and execute optical system build events across supplier sites, including configuration matrices, BOM reviews, and daily build reporting.
• Provide technical guidance on architecture, design, performance targets, and manufacturing/test processes, ensuring compliance with ITAR and RMF.
• Serve as primary liaison between engineering teams, supplier partners, and Anduril leadership, driving cross‑functional communication.
• Identify and mitigate technical, schedule, and production risks, maintaining major issues lists and adjusting plans as needed.
• Manage relationships with key supplier partners, delivering program updates, technical briefs, and performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Optics, Physics, Materials Science, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 8+ years of technical program management and manufacturing process development experience delivering hardware products.
• Proven experience taking a module or system from concept through qualification to mass production.
• Direct experience leading contract manufacturers and component suppliers with on‑site build support.
• Technical fluency in optics and optical manufacturing to evaluate supplier data independently.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin, including executive‑level reporting.
• Willingness to work primarily on‑site at supplier facilities and travel up to 50% internationally.
• Eligibility for security clearance.
