Sr. Supply Chain Analyst (Battery)

About the role

Flex is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Analyst specialized in battery components to join its Global Supply Management team at the Taipei Wugu site. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will monitor shortages, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery of battery cells and related parts to support production schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate shortage data with site procurement teams, identify discrepancies and drive corrective actions.
• Serve as the primary interface between manufacturing sites and suppliers, coordinating material supply plans and delivery commitments.
• Manage purchase orders, shipment tracking, order expediting, and supplier follow‑up to maintain uninterrupted material availability.
• Partner with Strategic Sourcing to assess supplier capacity, business continuity risks and technology roadmaps.
• Analyze Clear‑to‑Build (CTB) performance and demand fluctuations to identify root causes of material constraints and implement mitigation strategies.
• Monitor inventory levels of critical components, proactively identifying risks and recommending mitigation plans.
• Lead inventory health reviews, including excess and obsolete material analysis, and implement actions to minimize obsolescence.
• Support factory build plan execution through daily monitoring of demand changes, supply commitments and material availability.
• Identify, escalate and mitigate supplier‑related risks such as shortages, logistics disruptions, quality issues and capacity constraints.
• Utilize ERP and planning systems to maintain accurate supply chain data and support forecasting activities.

Required profile

• Experience monitoring shortage items and coordinating with procurement and manufacturing teams.
• Proven ability to liaise with suppliers and manage escalation paths.
• Familiarity with inventory health reviews and mitigation planning.
• Experience using ERP and planning systems for supply chain data management.
