Software Engineer – CSS Team (Taipei)

About the role

Ruckus Networks' Customer Support and Services (CSS) team in Taipei is looking for a hands‑on Software Engineer to build AI tools, automations, and backend services that empower engineers delivering world‑class support for wireless, wired, and cloud‑based products.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop self‑help automation solutions for customer‑facing support.
• Design, build, and deploy cloud‑native tools and microservices to streamline workflows.
• Define and evolve the software engineering process, tooling, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate third‑party systems such as CMS and Salesforce.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience in production environments.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work in a small, agile team.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑centric attitude.
• Detail‑oriented, critical thinker with solid problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Programming languages: Python, Go (Golang), Java, C/C++.
• Web frameworks: MVC or similar.
• Microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes.
• API design and consumption: REST, JSON, HTTP(S), SOAP.
• Integration with CMS, Salesforce, and other third‑party platforms.
• Public cloud SaaS environments and cloud‑native design.
• Networking fundamentals, security (authentication, authorization).
• CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Screwdriver, Ansible, Puppet, or Salt.
