Shipping Specialist

About the role

Molex is looking for a Shipping Specialist to support its Optical Solutions Business Unit. You will manage export documentation, coordinate with carriers and forwarders, and ensure timely delivery of outbound shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading and labels.
• Contact forwarders to book flights and arrange shipments according to stakeholder requirements.
• Coordinate with carriers, troubleshoot issues, and monitor outbound shipments to meet promised delivery dates.
• Interact with customers, propose carrier options, and track shipments.
• Verify carrier documents and ensure charges align with contracts.
• Maintain accurate shipping records in the system.
• Contribute to a positive team environment.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of outbound logistics experience.
• Familiarity with export processes and trading terms.
• Experience in a logistics service provider or customs brokerage is preferred.
• Fluent English is preferred.
