Service Technician – Warehouse Automation

About the role

Join Dematic, a leader in warehouse automation, as a Service Technician at the Tainan site. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on advanced automated systems to ensure reliable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (ASRS), Order Fulfilment (OFS) and Sortation systems.
• Communicate effectively with Service Manager, Maintenance Supervisor and Engineers.
• Resolve equipment faults promptly and report them to the Service Manager.
• Identify and report health and safety risks, accidents, incidents and property damage.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment and comply with OH&S policies.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets specifications and safety standards.
• Participate actively in a safe working culture and perform tasks assigned by the Service Manager.

Required profile

• Tertiary education (Degree or Diploma) in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related Engineering disciplines.
• Open to fresh graduates; 2‑3 years of service experience in control engineering, industrial automation or plant maintenance is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions and deliver results.
• Strong customer‑focused mindset and good communication skills.
• Willingness to work night shift duties.

Required skills

• Experience with computerised maintenance systems.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• PLC programming experience with Siemens S7 and SCADA WIN CC (beneficial).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Understanding of occupational health and safety requirements.
