Senior Technician – Greater Changhua Offshore Service

About the role

Join Siemens Gamesa’s Greater Changhua Offshore Service team in Taichung, Taiwan, as a Senior Technician. You will lead on‑site and offshore operations, ensuring high‑quality service delivery, safety, and compliance for our offshore windfarm assets.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver excellent service performance, meeting MTBV (Mean Time Between Visits) and first‑time‑fix targets.
• Provide active safety leadership on‑shore, aboard the Service Operation Vessel, and within turbines.
• Ensure compliance with SGRE standards, local legislation, EHS, quality, and contractual obligations.
• Produce and manage technical and safety documentation, risk assessments, and work‑package documentation.
• Develop and mentor technicians, supporting competency growth for SGRE and customer staff.
• Assist in planning daily and weekly service activities, maintaining efficient delivery timescales.

Required profile

• Background in maintenance or service within the renewable energy sector.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to work a 4‑week on / 4‑week off offshore rotation.
• Desire to move into a first‑level leadership position.
