Facilities Manager – Plant Operations

About the role

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of plant buildings, utility systems and related equipment at our main site in Guanyin, Taoyuan, with occasional support for the Daguan plant. The role ensures stable operation of water, electricity, gas, fire protection, elevators, overhead cranes and other utilities while meeting safety, quality, regulatory and operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor preventive maintenance and regular inspection programs for all plant systems.
• Manage outsourced maintenance, repair contracts and project work, including scope definition, contractor supervision and acceptance.
• Conduct facility safety inspections and ensure compliance with occupational safety, fire safety and government regulations.
• Develop annual maintenance budgets, manpower plans and resource allocations.
• Lead improvement projects such as equipment replacement, system upgrades, energy‑saving initiatives and capacity enhancements.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, EHS, Procurement and other departments to align maintenance activities with business needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, plant engineering or related fields.
• Hands‑on experience with plant utilities (water, electricity, gas, fire protection, elevators, overhead cranes).
• Proven vendor management and outsourced‑maintenance coordination skills.
• People‑management or senior technical guidance experience is preferred.
• Intermediate English communication skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
• Valid regular passenger‑car driver’s license.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite – Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word.
• AutoCAD competency (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and safety standards.
