Senior Staff Optical Test Engineer

About the role

Marvell is looking for a highly motivated Senior Staff Optical Test Engineer to join its product engineering team working on advanced server and network processor technologies. The engineer works closely with Test, hardware, design and firmware teams to design, develop and debug products and solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Debug and characterize the performance of new digital/analog circuit products.
• Analyze volume data and run test lab experiments to solve yield and test problems on the production floor.
• Lead optimization of production test screen spec definitions to meet yield, quality, test time and DPPM targets.
• Support RMA testing, customer-facing and QnR teams during customer escalations.
• Define yield and manufacturing specs for Wafer Sort, Final Test and SLT test insertions.
• Lead test flow optimization, test time reduction and insertion removals.
• Work with design and DFT/DFM groups to define and improve yield and test methodology.
• Take part in new product qualification before volume production and in new package/fab qualification.

Required profile

• Minimum 4+ years of semiconductor test engineering experience.
• Solid background in ATE testing, test methodology, silicon process, DFT/DFM and high-speed digital testing.
• Experience with Agilent 83K or 93K testers.
• Product development and mixed signal testing is a strong plus.
• Effective teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills, with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
