Senior Sales Manager - Service Sales (Grid Automation)

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY TAIWAN CO., LTD. is recruiting a Senior Sales Manager / Sales Manager in Nangang District, Taipei, focused on business development and service sales. The role works closely with the Service Sales Manager and/or Service Manager, has no direct reports and contributes to business growth and service market expansion in Taiwan and the APAC region.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the service sales strategy, promote upgrade, retrofit and value-add solutions, and prepare and review sales plans with recovery plans when needed
• Use the service database to understand the installed base, identify sales opportunities and develop leads across the service portfolio
• Build long-term customer relationships, explain Life Cycle Management (LCM) and register customer feedback
• Sell the full service product portfolio, track proposals and tenders, and coordinate contract details with the local Service Sales Manager
• Represent Hitachi Energy at trade fairs, exhibitions and customer meetings, and contribute to price and quality risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations and uphold safety and integrity

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics engineering
• More than 10 years of sales experience, preferably in service sales, with knowledge of Grid Automation (automation and communication) portfolios
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin
• Independent, result-oriented, collaborative and able to work in a global environment
