Senior Platform Engineer (SRE) – Cloud & Reliability

About the role

KKBOX, a leading music streaming platform in Asia, is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer with an SRE focus. You will design, build, and operate highly available cloud and hybrid infrastructure that powers millions of concurrent streams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters.
• Develop and operate CI/CD pipelines using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and automation tools.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability platforms; define SLI/SLO metrics and manage error budgets.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, incident response, root‑cause analysis, and capacity planning.
• Maintain and optimize MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, including backup, restore, and performance tuning.
• Manage IAM, secret management, and compliance/audit requirements across cloud and container environments.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or Platform Engineering.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills; ability to drive technical initiatives independently.
