Senior Principal Analyst, Semiconductor Advanced Packaging

About the role

Informa TechTarget is looking for an experienced Senior Principal Analyst to lead its worldwide analytical coverage of advanced packaging. The role is based in the Neihu Road office in Taipei and aims to position the team and Omdia as the definitive source of insight and thought leadership in the advanced packaging industry.

Key responsibilities

• Shape the research agenda and act as a leading voice for advanced packaging market analysis and strategy
• Develop and run primary and secondary research, producing detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis and written insights and press material
• Build and maintain a market sizing and projection model covering 2.5D and 3D integration, CoWoS, chiplets, FOWLP and SiP, with capacity, capex, demand and revenue analysis
• Connect advanced packaging with Omdia's Pure Play Foundry coverage, identify bottlenecks and technology advances, and cover HBM and key demand markets such as AI
• Use an established network of senior industry players to gather data and insights
• Travel internationally to attend industry events, meet clients and discuss market trends, risks and opportunities
• Drive research direction from customer and market needs, partner with sales and product development to generate leads and support renewals, and host customer briefings

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of the advanced packaging industry and external recognition as an expert
• Ability to write detailed, opinionated reports and express views backed by data
• Thought leadership capability across media channels and content formats
• Strong research interview connections and data gathering skills
• Willingness to travel regularly, often worldwide
