Senior Global Mobility Specialist (Global Business Travel)

About the role

The Senior Global Mobility Specialist will split time between Global Business Travel coordination (60%) and Global Mobility operations (40%) for Coupang Taiwan. Working as an individual contributor, you will be the primary operational contact in Taiwan, handling vendor relationships, travel logistics, payments and mobility cases to support strategic initiatives such as the CLS Project and Rocket Delivery operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with hotels and travel suppliers, negotiate long‑stay room blocks and secure competitive rates in Mandarin.
• Coordinate travel requests, accommodations and schedule changes for Korea‑based and local staff across Taiwan.
• Serve as the local escalation point for urgent traveler issues, ensuring compliance with the company Travel Policy.
• Collaborate with the Seoul‑based GBT core team and internal functions (Immigration, Procurement, Finance, Payroll) to bridge time‑zone and language gaps.
• Process travel‑related expenses, vendor payments and maintain GBT databases, benefit records and lease agreements.
• Provide end‑to‑end support for mobility cases, immigration processes, visa applications and relocation activities.

Required profile

• Based in Taipei with fluent Mandarin and proficient English.
• 3–5+ years of hands‑on experience in global mobility, corporate travel management, hotel procurement or HR operations.
• Proven negotiation skills and experience managing local accommodation and travel suppliers.
• Strong attention to detail with experience handling vendor payments, expense tracking and database management.
• Excellent organizational and multi‑tasking abilities to prioritize split responsibilities across two functions.
• Deep familiarity with Taiwan’s travel and hospitality market.
