Senior Data Analyst (Logistics)

About the role

Coupang is expanding in Taiwan and is hiring a Senior Data Analyst for its TW Logistics Analytics team. The analyst helps understand and improve the entire customer delivery journey, from order placement to last-mile delivery, through data-driven insights. The role works closely with Engineering, Product and Operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and monitor KPIs for the delivery network, delivery status and courier operations, and use data to find the root causes of operational issues.
• Analyze metrics such as delivery success rate, delivery lead time and courier productivity to support data-driven decisions in Operations.
• Evaluate the impact of new initiatives such as route optimization and network redesign through pre- and post-launch analysis, and design simulation frameworks.
• Design, build and maintain data pipelines (Airflow DAGs) and data mart tables (Hive/Presto), and ensure data integrity through validation, backfilling and governance.
• Develop and manage business reports and dashboards for leadership and stakeholders, and communicate findings clearly.
• Partner with Product Managers, Program Managers, Engineers and Operations teams to turn business questions into analytical frameworks.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience analyzing large-scale datasets with SQL (Presto/Hive).
• Experience building data ETL processes and orchestrating pipelines (e.g. Airflow).
• Experience building dashboards and business reports with Tableau, Power BI or Zeppelin.
• Ability to troubleshoot data quality and validation issues, and to work in cross-functional teams.
• Clear communication of analytical findings to stakeholders.
• Business proficiency in Mandarin Chinese; intermediate English (reading, writing, speaking).

Preferred qualifications

• Knowledge of logistics and delivery operations, including last-mile delivery, network design and WMS.
• Understanding of A/B testing and causal inference.
• Python for data analysis and automation.
• Experience with AI/ML tools such as LLM-based coding assistants and generative AI.
