Senior CloudOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior CloudOps Engineer to manage and optimise our Linux‑based production environment across multiple cloud providers. The role involves ensuring high availability, performance and security of web services that serve a global user base.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and troubleshoot Linux production servers.
• Deploy, configure and fine‑tune Nginx for reverse proxy, load balancing, caching and high‑availability.
• Design and maintain CDN acceleration, caching strategies and origin routing.
• Configure and manage DDoS protection, WAF and respond to active attacks.
• Manage cloud resources on AWS, Alibaba Cloud or Tencent Cloud (compute, load balancers, VPC, routing, security groups, monitoring and logging).
• Diagnose production issues such as HTTP 502/504, upstream failures, network problems and performance bottlenecks.
• Develop automation scripts in Shell or Python and collaborate with engineering teams on deployments, releases and incident resolution.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on Linux operations, CloudOps or system administration experience.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS).
• Professional proficiency in Mandarin; English communication skills are a plus.

Required skills

• Linux system administration.
• Nginx configuration, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Alibaba Cloud or Tencent Cloud.
• CDN architecture, caching and traffic routing.
• DDoS mitigation, WAF and anti‑DDoS solutions.
• Shell scripting and Python programming.
