Risk & Data Analyst (Headquarters)

About the role

We are seeking a Risk & Data Analyst to support Morrison Express’s risk management operations from our headquarters. The role focuses on quantitative data modeling, automating reporting, and improving visibility of global cargo claims data.

Key responsibilities

• Structure, clean, and maintain global cargo claims and risk datasets, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Apply predictive analytics and trend modeling to historical claims frequency, loss severity, and high‑risk trade lanes.
• Design and implement automated data pipelines, claims tracking templates, and intake tools to streamline daily workflows.
• Generate regular claims reports, monitor pending cases, and ensure compliance with audit and insurance standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, risk analysis, or financial/insurance analytics.
• Fluent Mandarin and proficient English, with strong attention to detail and document accuracy.
• Basic understanding of insurance concepts (claims, deductibles, premiums) or logistics/supply‑chain workflows is a plus.

Required skills

• Power BI and Tableau for interactive dashboard creation.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, VBA, and complex formulas.
• Statistical modeling and regression analysis techniques.
• Design and automation of data intake templates and reporting pipelines.
