Senior Accountant

About the role

Turner & Townsend, a global professional services company with over 22,000 people in more than 60 countries and majority-owned by CBRE Group, is hiring a Senior Accountant in Taipei. The role covers daily accounting operations, invoicing, tax filings and month-end closing, with support for audits and reporting to local and regional headquarters.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting operations, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Prepare and issue Government Uniform Invoices (GUI) and manage input/output invoices
• Prepare and file VAT returns and related tax declarations
• Handle withholding tax (WHT) calculation and filing in line with Taiwan tax regulations
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors and internal stakeholders during audits
• Prepare financial and tax reports for local and regional HQ requirements
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies and documentation standards
• Provide basic office administrative support and perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by management

Required profile

• Associate degree or above in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• 3-5+ years of solid accounting experience; MNC experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of Taiwan tax regulations, including VAT and WHT
• Detail-oriented, proactive and able to work independently

Required skills

• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Basic English reading and written communication
