Regional Communications, Public Relations (PR) and Marketing

About the role

Join Applied Materials in Hsinchu as a Regional Communications, PR and Marketing leader, driving integrated communications projects and enhancing the company’s reputation across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated communications projects, serving as a trusted partner to business, functional teams and the Communications & Public Affairs organization.
• Manage agency partnerships, communications budgets, and end‑to‑end execution across earned, shared and owned channels, including PR, social media, digital marketing and website content.
• Advise local leadership on strategic communications and messaging, acting as an ambassador for the Applied Materials brand.
• Oversee community programs such as nonprofit partnerships, grantmaking, reporting and employee volunteer initiatives.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of experience in corporate, brand or internal communications, preferably in semiconductor or display sectors.
• Strong command of English and Chinese (written and spoken) and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English or Marketing.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment with strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
