Quality Inspector

About the role

Vestas is looking for skilled Quality Inspectors to support offshore wind farm projects worldwide. You will join the offshore project site management team and help deliver high‑quality wind turbine generators (WTG) from installation through commissioning to operation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct component inspections for nacelles, towers, blades and other critical parts.
• Coordinate the quality scope with the project team to meet customer WTG requirements.
• Identify, register and report non‑conformities, handling data processing and documentation.
• Review, approve and archive inspection reports.
• Drive quality improvements across Vestas’ value chain and participate in audits.
• Inspect incoming deliveries on site and ensure compliance with safety and HSE standards.
• Support and promote a strong quality culture within the construction phase.

Required profile

• Good understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Education in renewable energy or related field.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.
• Leadership, safety and quality mindset, and a focus on continuous improvement.
• Previous IT experience and familiarity with electrical, mechanical and hydraulic diagrams.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions; WTG experience is a plus.
