Project Manager - Construction Projects

About the role

Turner & Townsend is hiring a Project Manager in Taipei to lead the execution of small to medium-sized construction and workplace projects. The role ensures alignment with time, cost, quality and performance objectives, manages project teams, coordinates stakeholders and maintains effective project governance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and support project success criteria covering time, cost, quality and performance
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules
• Monitor project finances with the project quantity surveyor team to stay within budget
• Manage change control and keep proper documentation
• Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams and ensure effective communication among stakeholders
• Maintain project governance, prepare formal progress reports and ensure compliance with quality, safety, health and environmental standards
• Act as key contact for clients and consultants, identify new business opportunities with existing clients and capture project learnings in internal knowledge systems

Required profile

• Degree in interior design, architecture, civil engineering or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience delivering office fit-outs or new-build commercial or industrial projects
• Proven track record leading small to mid-scale construction projects of varying complexity
• Fluency in both Chinese and English
