Project Accountant

About the role

The Project Accountant will support all accounting and tax activities related to company projects, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. This role works closely with senior management, auditors, and internal teams to deliver timely and reliable financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Support project‑related accounting and tax activities.
• Manage periodic closing of management accounts, guaranteeing data integrity.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and internal/external financial reports.
• Evaluate short‑term cash‑flow forecasts.
• Facilitate annual audits, statutory accounting, and tax filings.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of accounting systems and procedures.
• Address ad‑hoc accounting and tax requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of financial accounting experience, including at least 3 years in‑house.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written English.
• Proficiency with an ERP system (SAP or Oracle) is required.
• Knowledge of IFRS, Taiwan general accounting, and corporate finance principles.
• Experience with closing and reporting for multi‑location companies on a consolidated basis is a plus.
