About the role
Micron is seeking a hands‑on Production Technician to maintain and repair electro‑mechanical equipment used in its manufacturing lines. The role focuses on troubleshooting, rebuilding, and modifying equipment to keep production running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Perform electrical and mechanical repairs on non‑functioning electro‑mechanical equipment.
- Dismantle, adjust, repair, and re‑assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, manuals, or sketches.
- Use test and diagnostic tools to conduct equipment check‑outs and verify functionality.
- Rebuild manufacturing equipment as needed to restore operational status.
- Implement equipment modifications under engineering guidance.
Required profile
- Practical experience fixing electrical or mechanical issues on manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret layout plans, blueprints, and repair manuals.
- Comfort working in a fast‑paced production environment.
