Production Operator

About the role

We are seeking a Production Operator to join our skilled operations team in the Packaging & Board Assembly division. The role involves handling smelting, powder production, sieving, and packaging of tin powder, with daily transportation of 20‑30 kg batches and work in high‑temperature environments.

Key responsibilities

• Produce semi‑finished and finished tin powder products, package them and prepare shipments.
• Operate reactors, mixers, pumps and other production machinery according to SOPs.
• Load, unload and transfer raw materials and product batches.
• Perform routine cleaning, basic maintenance and minor equipment adjustments.
• Conduct process and machinery inspections during manufacturing.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow housekeeping standards.
• Use personal protective equipment and adhere to safety protocols.
• Accurately complete production records and report issues to maintenance teams.

Required profile

• Hands‑on, practical attitude with a focus on safety and reliability.
• Ability to work reliably, be punctual and contribute to team goals.
• Detail‑oriented, able to follow written instructions accurately.
• Calm under pressure and able to maintain focus during busy periods.

Required skills

• Production machinery operation (reactors, mixers, pumps).
• Basic equipment troubleshooting and minor maintenance.
• Knowledge of chemical safety procedures and PPE use (e.g., COSHH).
• Production documentation and record‑keeping.
