Principal, Logistics Compliance

About the role

Coupang's Logistics Compliance team is an independent oversight function that safeguards regulatory compliance and operational integrity across its end-to-end logistics network. It audits fulfillment centers, transport systems and third-party logistics (3PL) partners, and advises executive leadership so that logistics operations meet national laws, local regulations and corporate compliance benchmarks. This is an internal transfer position in Taipei.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular and ad-hoc on-site audits of fulfillment centers, delivery hubs and 3PL vendors, covering warehouse operations, fleet management and logistics service agreements, including construction activities
• Produce comprehensive audit reports that explain risks and their impact to leadership
• Build a centralized monitoring system tracking local and international regulations such as transportation safety, hazardous materials, fleet governance and labor/subcontractor compliance, and interpret them with operational teams
• Set and track logistics compliance KPIs (audit resolution rate, infraction metrics, 3PL compliance scores) and drive risk remediation programs
• Use data analytics and risk-based methods to modernize compliance controls and act as an independent gatekeeper against operational shortcuts

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Logistics/Supply Chain Management, Law, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field
• About 8-10+ years of experience in logistics compliance, supply chain risk management, transport regulatory oversight or operational compliance auditing within large logistics, e-commerce or multinational companies
• Deep knowledge of local transportation regulations, hazardous goods handling, warehouse standards and 3PL compliance

Preferred qualifications

• Chinese and English fluency, able to write professional audit reports in both languages
• Certifications such as IATA/IMDG/ADR, CSCP or compliance audit credentials
• Data analytics skills (Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI) for dashboards and audit sampling
