Operations & Projects Manager

About the role

We are scaling quickly across multiple fronts—cross‑border market expansion, physical site setups, vendor coordination, and brand‑new initiatives without a playbook. The role reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for owning projects from conception through delivery, without being broken into fragments.

Key responsibilities

• Own projects end‑to‑end, from cross‑border compliance paperwork to vendor and partner coordination.
• Run physical site operations, including setup logistics, vendor management, and progress tracking.
• Juggle multiple live projects, setting priorities to meet deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Act as the connective tissue between internal teams and external partners, ensuring clear communication.
• Solve unfamiliar problems independently by researching regulations or processes and moving forward.
• Leverage AI tools such as Gemini and Claude to accelerate research and drafting.
• Adapt quickly when priorities shift, maintaining steady progress under unpredictable workloads.
• Keep the CEO informed about successes, challenges, and upcoming needs.

Required profile

• 1‑5 years of experience, preferably as a founder’s/CEO’s right‑hand or project manager in a fast‑moving environment.
• Proven ability to pick up new industries or skills rapidly and deliver results.
• Hands‑on experience in project management, event execution, or on‑the‑ground coordination.
• Comfort with constantly shifting priorities and tasks without a fixed routine.
• Detail‑oriented and patient enough to handle paperwork and processes accurately.
• Fluency in reading and writing Mandarin and English.
• Proficiency with everyday tools like Google Workspace and Notion.
• Regular use of AI tools (Gemini, Claude) to increase productivity.
