Manager Reverse Logistics & Sustainability Programs

About the role

We are looking for a commercially‑minded, hands‑on leader to own PMI Taiwan’s product recovery and sustainability agenda. This newly created role sits at the intersection of reverse logistics, recycling and sustainability, shaping take‑back programs that support PMI Taiwan’s broader sustainability ambitions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end reverse‑logistics network, from collection and warehousing to inspection, consolidation, recycling or destruction of devices and consumables.
• Establish and continuously improve SOPs, KPIs and cost‑efficiency across collection, transportation, storage and disposal processes.
• Design, launch and scale Taiwan’s recycling and take‑back programs, aligning them with local waste‑management regulations and commercial objectives.
• Engage with government agencies and external affairs teams to position recycling efforts as responsible product stewardship.
• Build, contract and oversee vendors for recycling, waste management, inspection and logistics, setting service levels and ensuring compliance.
• Develop reporting frameworks, scorecards and business cases, and lead cross‑functional projects with Commercial, Operations, Finance, Procurement, Legal and External Affairs.

Required profile

• Based in Taiwan with strong knowledge of the local waste‑management and recycling ecosystem.
• Minimum five years of experience in operations, product care, reverse logistics, sustainability or program management, preferably in electronics, appliances or consumer take‑back programs.
• Commercial mindset with practical knowledge of recycling, waste management and responsible product recovery.
• Proven vendor and contract management experience, capable of developing niche partners into reliable collaborators.
• Strong project‑management and stakeholder‑engagement skills, comfortable working with government and regulatory bodies.
• Hands‑on, process‑driven, analytical and confident in communication, presentation and reporting.
