Memory Circuit Design Engineer – TCAM/SRAM

About the role

Cisco is seeking a Memory Circuit Design Engineer to develop and validate TCAM and SRAM memory blocks for advanced semiconductor technologies. You will work across concept, prototype, test, and production phases, ensuring high‑performance, reliable, and safe memory solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement TCAM and SRAM architectures on advanced nodes.
• Execute full memory design flow: architecture, circuit implementation, layout supervision, compiler automation, characterization, model generation, and database QA.
• Create detailed schematics and run simulations to verify functionality.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, test, and senior engineering teams for product integration.
• Develop prototypes, perform testing and debugging, and optimise performance and reliability.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of designs, test results, and project schedules.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Participate in design reviews and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 0‑3 years of experience with semiconductor memory technologies and circuit design.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD tools such as Cadence and Synopsys.
• Experience in low‑power memory circuit design.
• Knowledge of signal‑integrity and timing analysis.
• Familiarity with prototype testing equipment and methodologies.
• Understanding of layout supervision, compiler automation, and model generation.
