About the role
Qnity is seeking a proactive Material Planner to support its advanced electronics manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining material plans that align with master production schedules, ensuring the right components are available at the right time.
Key responsibilities
- Create, validate and maintain material plans based on master plans and production schedules from toll manufacturing or joint ventures.
- Schedule and manage material deliveries against contracts and purchase orders, minimizing production and storage costs.
- Assess raw‑material storage and distribution capacity, lead resolution of short‑term supply/demand imbalances, and handle quality complaints.
- Enter tolling and resale transaction data into SAP, extract data for reporting, and coordinate special release requests.
- Manage scrap, leftover material, bonded raw material processes, and month‑end inventory reconciliation.
- Support sourcing, operations and supply‑chain teams with execution of production and inventory plans.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of supply‑chain or material‑planning experience.
- Strong English communication skills (TOEIC > 780).
- Proactive attitude, ability to work cross‑functionally and meet tight deadlines.
Required skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP.
- Familiarity with planning systems (e.g., OMP).
